Call for Line

For actors in rehearsal

Off book by the date on the callboard

The director gave you a deadline. Between now and then you have a day job, a commute, and a scene partner with exactly the same problem you have.

Call for Line is for the hours in between. It reads the other parts, listens to yours, and keeps an honest count of where you actually are.

The script goes in whole

One PDF and the play comes back split into scenes with the cast list intact. You choose your character once, and every scene you appear in is ready.

A number instead of a feeling

Word by word against the page, with the goal set where you want it, anywhere from a loose first read to word perfect. Almost knowing a line reads as almost knowing it.

It knows before you do

When your last three runs of a scene hit your goal, the scene is marked off book. Until then, the lines you keep dropping stay at the top of the list.

Before you ask

What if the microphone mishears me?
Tap Word Perfect and the line takes full credit. The score is there to measure your memory, not your microphone.
Can I rehearse without signal?
Study mode works offline for cue review. Hearing the other parts and getting scored both need a connection.
Will it take a full-length play?
Yes. A long script takes a few minutes to come back, so send it up in the evening and it is waiting for you.
